What Can You Expect to See in the Texas Recipe Workbook Group?
The group is centered around Texas-centric food, such as food from the Texas German Belt, Tex-Mex, Mexican (Mexican is Texan, too), East Texas Souther/Cajun, the Vietnamese Diaspora, and other cuisines. All with a Texas flavor.
Just dive in and tell us what you’re cooking. Post pictures, ask questions and comment on what others are doing.
The success of the group depends on your participation.
In the future, we also plan to host giveaways for those that contribute the most to the group.
If you’re a food blogger or other creator, you are welcome to join and share your work. We want to support Texas businesses.
Please don’t over-promote, though. Here are a few easy rules
FOR BLOGGERS: Only shared links from clearly Texas-based and Texas-focused food bloggers are acceptable (no more than one blog link per week, and be involved in the group). Let’s support Texas creators.
FOR MAKERS: Texas-based farmer’s market vendors and other makers (food-related) are encouraged to share what they do (no more than one link a week, and be involved in the group). We want to support you too.
FOR CHEFS: Same deal. You’re welcome to promote your work. We want to support you. Just contribute to the group and don’t over-promote.
Understand that, as a Creator, the best way to market is to teach. Help people. Giving is the path to receiving.
Finally, if you are a professional in the space, once you join, send me a message and we’ll get you an expert badge so that other members will be able to easily identify you.
