This category is a combination of Texas-centric and Tex-Mex Recipes.
Tex-Mex is a cuisine that is unique to Texas, being a fusion of Southern American and Mexican cuisines.
Below is a collection of my Texas and Tex-Mex recipes. You’ll find some crossover between my Mexican recipes and this category since some recipes are ubiquitous in both regions.
There will also be a New Mexico style recipe or two sprinkled in. I’m a West Texan. New Mexican food is as common out here as Cajun and Southern Food. Heck, a large chunk of New Mexico was West Texas not all that long ago.
